Russians took the lives of two children who lived in Sumy
On 17 November, Russians fired missiles at a residential block of apartments in Sumy. 11 people were killed, including two children - 9-year-old Ilya and 14-year-old Anastasia.
Ilya was a much-anticipated child in the family. He was born with a serious illness. The family did everything to ensure that he had a happy childhood, the local media source Kordon.Media reports.
Last year, the boy's father buried his brother Yevhen, who died defending Ukraine.
‘This terrible event was a great shock for our entire school family. Ilya was a kind and bright child. His energy and sincerity will remain in our memory forever. The bright memory of Ilya will always be in our hearts,’ wrote the Sumy educational complex No. 16.
A Russian missile also claimed the life of 14-year-old Anastasia Borovyk. The girl was in the 9th grade of Sumy school No. 15.
‘There are no words to express everything that each of us feels now. Sadness, pain, grief. Unfortunately, we can now only remember the smiling and best girl Nastya, because she is no longer with us,’ the school's social media page said.
